Section
1: General Questions
Q: How can I learn more about the program
and how it works?
A: On the home page of this website, click on “Volunteer Incentive
Program Cards”. Then, go directly to “Click here for the
PDF Presentation”. It gives a good explanation of how the “Volunteer
Incentive Program” works.
Q: Who decides how and when the cards
are to be given out?
A: Volunteer Incentive Program Cards are to be given to volunteers.
They are to be awarded by Management and Supervisory Personnel, based
on individual achievement of program objectives.
Q: Where can I find examples of what
type of safety activities I should reward?
A: On the home page of this website, click on “Volunteer Incentive
Program Cards”. Then go directly to “Click here for the
PDF Presentation”. There are many examples of the type of activities
you can reward with cards.
Q: Is there any particular start or end
date for a program?
A: No. You can begin or end a program at any time. To get started,
just order the cards and a few sample catalogs. When you receive the
cards, have a meeting to show your volunteers the program, how they
can earn the cards, and the exciting awards that are available. The program
works best when participants can earn multiple cards during the length
of the program.
Q How do I order cards and catalogs?
A: Go to the Order Cards & Catalogs section of this website
(on the Home Page). You may also wish to call to order additional cards
or catalogs.
Q: How is the billing handled for cards
and catalogs I order?
A: Questions about billing or accounting should be directed to Anderson
Marketing Volunteer Incentive Program @ 1-800-847-1703 x116.
Q: Will I need to do a lot of administrative
work?
A: NO! The reward redemption process is self-administered
by the worker: After distribution of the cards, recipients redeem
their credits directly with Gift Headquarters (whenever they like).
Q: How many catalogs can I order?
A: Go to the Order Cards & Catalogs section of this website
(on the Home Page). You may also wish to call to order additional cards
or catalogs, 1-800-847-1703 x116, Volunteer Incentive Program Customer
Service.
Q: How do I get order forms for the awards?
A: An award order form is included with each catalog. If you need
more, you have three options:
1.) Make photo copies.
2.) Go to the Home Page of this website
and click on “Browse Catalog”. Then, go to the bottom of the
screen and click on “Order Form”, and print it out.
3.) Call Gift Headquarters @ 1-800-328-5636.
Q: What if our program is over, and someone
doesn't have enough credits to get an award?
A: This is a great feature of this program. They can accumulate
their credits from multiple job
sites! So, credits they earn on one site can be combined with other job
sites to get bigger
awards.
Q: If I can’t find the answer to
my question in this section, who should I call?
A: Please Call Gift Headquarters Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00
p.m. CST @ 1-800-328-5636.
Section 2: Questions about
Volunteer Incentive Cards
Q: What makes these cards so motivational?
A: There are many reasons why the cards are so motivational. The
three primary reasons are:
1.) There is a Jackpot (5 Wins) on every
card. All they have to do is reveal 5 wins in their 5 rubs and they
have 100,000 credits!
2.) Every card is a winner. There are no
losers in the Volunteer Incentive Program.
3.) Volunteers can combine the credits
they earn on multiple cards to get bigger awards.
Q: Is there a minimum number of cards
I can order?
A: Yes, 25 or more generic cards or 1000 custom cards. Remember,
your program will work best if the participants can earn multiple cards.
Q: What if a volunteer scratches off
no winning spaces?
A: Remember there are no losers. The card is still worth
200 credits even if they find no wins in their 5 rubs.
Q: Is there a way to prove that
there are actually 5 Wins (the jackpot) on every card?
A: Yes! When someone doesn't find any wins (worth 200 credits) they
can scratch off all the spaces…….. the card will still be
worth 200 credits! They will have physical proof that there are 5 wins
on every card! Notice that it says on the back of each card:
“On a hard surface, with the fine edge of a coin, scratch off
any five (5) spaces. You may scratch off only five (5) spaces per card.
If more than five, or any portion of more than five spaces is uncovered,
this card is automatically worth 200 credits, regardless of the number
of "WINS" uncovered.
So, if they earn 200 credits (0 Wins), they can scratch off all the
spaces, it will still be worth 200 credits! Not only will they see there
are 5 wins on every card, they will see that if they would have rubbed
off a couple of different spaces they would have earned 1,000 credits!
Q: When is the best time to distribute
and play the cards?
A: Whenever possible, try to distribute and play the cards in a group
setting. There is a lot of synergy that happens (and fun!) when the
cards are played in a group. Some earn low amounts of credits, some
get more. Synergy is a powerful motivator. Note: In a group, if someone
earns the lowest amount (200 credits) they can rub off all the spaces
and everybody will see there is 5 wins, a Jackpot, on every card!
Q: Can lost cards be replaced at no charge?
A: In most cases, cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Please
tell your volunteers to treat the cards as they treat cash which can
not be replaced if lost or stolen.
Q: If I can’t find the answer
to my question in this FAQ section who should I call?
A: Please contact Gift Headquarters Customer service Monday through
Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CST by calling our customer service department
at 1-800-328-5636.
